Ring and Mike picks up. Tell him the make and model and what's happened to the screen, and he'll tell you what needs doing and what it'll cost.
If a chip can be repaired, he won't sell you a new windscreen. If it's a leak, he'll tell you whether the screen needs taking out and refitting or replacing.

Chip repair or a new windscreen?
A chip caught early can often be repaired, which keeps your original screen and its seal. If it's cracked across, or the screen is leaking or lifting, it needs to come out.

Why we won't fit a windscreen in the rain
A windscreen is bonded in with adhesive and primer, and they need dry glass to seal all the way round. Fit one in the wet and it can leak, and on a motorhome a leak gets into the cab, the dashboard and the floor. The screen also helps keep the front of the vehicle rigid, so a bad seal makes it weaker.
So we book big screens in for a dry day, and once we start, we stay until the job's done and you're back on the road.
